Getting started with TermsPilot
TermsPilot tracks money owed to you on net payment terms by B2B companies — two features built into Shopify on all paid plans. If you already sell wholesale with payment terms, setup takes about a minute.
What you need first
- B2B companies in Shopify (Admin → Customers → Companies).
- Payment terms on those companies (e.g. Net 30), so orders are created with a due date.
- At least one order placed on those terms that isn't fully paid yet.
If you don't use Shopify B2B yet, start with Shopify's B2B guide — TermsPilot picks everything up automatically once terms exist.
Install → first scan → snapshot
When you first open TermsPilot it scans your store for companies and open net-terms orders. On a typical store this takes well under a minute. You'll land on a snapshot like:

From there, two buttons set up the core value:
- Set credit limits → takes you to the dashboard; open any company to set its limit.
- Turn on reminders → shows you exactly what would send, to whom, before anything actually sends.
Reading the dashboard
- KPI cards: total outstanding, total overdue, due within 7 days, and how many companies are over their credit limit.
- Aging table: one row per company with a balance. Current means not yet due; 1–30 / 31–60 / 60+ are days past due.
- Status badges:
OK·Near limit(over 80% of limit) ·Over limit·Overdue. Red means act today.
Click any row for the company's full picture: unpaid orders, days overdue, reminder history, notes, and statement downloads.
Keeping data fresh
TermsPilot updates automatically as orders are created, edited, and paid. A nightly self-check re-verifies everything against Shopify. You can also click Re-sync from Shopify on the dashboard any time.
No B2B data showing?
You'll see an honest empty screen with setup steps — never a blank page. On a development store you can test with one company and one draft order marked "payment due later."
